OUR PROGRAMS:
ArtSparkRun wild inside our creative playground, but don’t forget to play nice during this twelve week collaborative competition, beginning May 26th and concluding August 17th.The rules of the game are simple... Start with nothing. Use a piece of visual art and a musical composition to “spark†the creation of a video game or play. “Spark†a new musical composition and piece of visual art as a new play or video game is created. Finish with a public showcase of your work and the chance to walk away with a cash prize! Don’t forget to enjoy the toys that the HBMG Foundation gives you along the way: a budget, workspace, industry workshops, and equipment to help facilitate the process.

LOVE SONATAS
HBMG Foundation is thrilled to announce the world premiere of The Love Sonatas at the Rollins Studio Theatre May 18th through June 1st. This five play cycle, written by Manuel Zarate, took the basic theater ingredients - one playwright; three weeks; 20 performances – and decided to try something new. One composer, two painters, three animators, four designers, five directors, 15 crew members, and 24 actors later, The Love Sonatas were ready to go. With almost two dozen newly commissioned works of visual art, a never-before-heard musical score, a slew of new costumes, and more original film than you can shake a stick at, the words won’t be the only new things on the brand-spanking new Long Center stage.
CREATIVITY INCUBATOR
In order to further support participants from the ArtSpark Festival, the HBMG Foundation has created its newest program, the Creativity Incubator. The goal of this program is simple: creative individuals continue developing their craft and new works, while the Foundation supports them by offering financial assistance, rehearsal space, offices, software support, and workshops with professionals in the community.
