Long since silenced combo from Copenhagen Denmark.
Was a foursome founded by Claus Berthelsen in '83.
When Hilmer Hassig entered the band it drastically became a duo.
Claus & Hilmer being the core members, NAïVE recorded the debut fish? in 1985.
Flemming Muus played bass on that recording and became the third permanent bandmember.
Martin B joined sometime in '86-'87 and the band began preparing the next album, Careless.
Released in '89 Careless was to be the bestselling NAïVE-album, with the title track and Marble Afternoon spearheading into radio charts.
Bestselling is such a nice word, but it's relative too.
Anyways, the label went bankrupt in 1990, just as NAïVE was to finish the third opus.
As it happened, that recording was finally released in '95. The title was Absolution Music and apart from a Christmas release that same year, the band then decided to cuddle up somewhere for a longlasting sleep.
