About Me

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA I began my musical career at a young age. I did all of the routine concert bands, orchestras, marching bands, and jazz bands during my days of free public education, and marched in the 1997 Tournament of Roses Honor Band. At the beginning of high school I auditioned and joined a rock band that I stayed with for five years, performing at bars, party's, and the Hollywood club scene, (Whiskey A Go Go, The Roxy, Coconut Teaser, The Anti-Club, etc).College was an incredible learning and growing experience. At Citrus College I was taught how to be a musician, not just a drummer, by working professional musicians that actually cared and kicked my rear. I made friends with a lot of great musicians that I still perform with to this day. Reading was a huge emphasis for drum set and orchestral percussion including keyboard mallet instruments. Afro-Cuban instruments were also studied as well as plenty of time recording in the studio in many different situations. I then went on and transferred to UCLA. Some good times some not so good, but I did graduate! I was also fortunate enough to perform with Gwen Stefani for most of her Harajuku Lovers Tour and television appearances. (Thanks Mr. Waddington)After spending almost two years performing on "the boat," (Queen Mary) I decided to move to Las Vegas to meet new people and to play with new groups. It has been a work in progress but so far life in Vegas is good.
