Madison Murray AKA Nixx was born in Boston, MA on October 12th 1987 and lived with his American father and Canadian mother and eventually moved down in Halifax, NS at the age of 3 and was raised in the Uniacke Square area. Nixx’s family all had musical talent his mother had a great voice as well as many of his aunts and female/male cousins, both sides of Nixx’s family was musically talented as far as that goes. By the time Nixx reached the age of 12 he grew a passion for hip hop just from listening to certain artist’s like method man & red man, DMX, Hova and many more as time grew on. Nixx showed his little bit of talents with ways as far as spitting in ciphers with friends or just writing small verses of what he knew just to get familiar with writing until his first opportunity to get on the mic came in 2002 when his school saint Patrick’s Alexandria had a program where they were doing a little school album which was called; saint pats finest volume 3 which Nixx was on and many listeners were shocked when they heard Nixx get on his first ever recorded song which was called ill skills featuring dolomite (Another dude that Nixx grew up with). This made him familiar to the scene now everyone in the neighborhood knew that Nixx had talent and was itching to hear more as time rolled on to when Nixx hit high school that’s when he started taking it more serious and would write constantly and any chance he had to get on the mic he was on it, and there was a certain song that open up ears to hear more of Nixx from the older cats in the game that were spitting for a minute, he got on a track for the Vinny D Album (in it to win it) called got it L.O.C.K.E.D it was a banger for a minute too!! Had many ears in the streets ringing for a minute but as far as that goes, Nixx began dealing with more and more people who were on the same page as him with this local music scene but don’t get it twisted Nixx isn’t any sugar coated cat that just talks a lot either, he has seen and been through a lot which makes his music stand out why do u think they call him Nixx aka REAL RAP! His style his flow and delivery and lyrical ways he explains true life at its best is surely something that any real cat in these streets would want to hear just ask? VA$Heatt, he’ll tell you. Why u think they say real recognize real? Besides his talent his real personality is what brought the attention to VA and the rest of the Street Die$el Family. So there basically isn’t really much more to say but to watch out because they let Nixx out the cage!!!
