About Me

Im William.
Also known as:
JaWill
Ja'
Ethiopian (don't ask)
Willie
Will (how original)
Will.I.Am.
Will C.
To be continued
Im 6'0" and 160 lbs.
I'm a Junior at Myers Park High.
I think about my future. (Weird I know.)
I want to go to East Carolina for college.
I plan on majoring in psychology.
With a minor in Jazz Studies.
(Music not the Dance)
But thats just so I have something to fall back on.
My real dream is to be a rockstar.
Music is my life.
(In case you havent noticed.)
Im a bassist.
Electric mostly, but I play upright, too.
Im in the jazz band and chamber orchestra at Myers Park.
And I also write my own stuff, which is really fun! (See top friends or banner below)
A band may or may not be on the way. I guess I'll keep you updated on that.
Do not start talking to me about music unless you have plenty of free time to spare :)
I love most types of music
(anything that can get me moving mostly)
Except for:
Most country
(the accents can get on my nerves sorry)
Most Techno
(a lot of it just sounds the same sorry again)
Modern/Crunk? Rap
(same as techno except even more boring and stupid.)
(Not Sorry...at all.)
Im arrogant/cocky/conceited/confident
(Take your pick)
But I dont take myself too seriously so it evens out,
And I will be the first to admit when Im wrong
I say what is on my mind
(Whether you like it/want to hear it, or not)
So dont come to me looking for extreme amounts of pity
Im a shallow person who happens to have a very deep side.
Im judgemental (but so is everyone),
but open-minded (on good days)
Im sometimes a hypocrite (but so is everyone)
I am a pretty religious person.
I am a Christian.
However,
I don't believe in condemning anyone for their religious beliefs.
If you believe it, good for you.
I think everyone should have something
To believe in.
And that a morally good person
Who doesn't associate with a specific "faith"
Is much better in God's eyes than a morally corrupt person
Who flies "faith" and "religion" as a banner.
Its the inside that counts.
I also believe that whatever you believe is the truth
I believe that those of all religions
As long as they are pure of heart
Will recieve what it is they seek
And that none will be condemned to eternal suffering
Unless of course, that is what they want (...?)
Im a moderate (far out, i know).
Allow me to explain:
I do not like war.
I hate it that in our world, it is the only way we have of solving problems.
However, I support the War in Iraq and the bigger picture, the War on Terror.
Why?
Because we are a powerful nation and we should find it our responsibility to help out nations with cruel regimes in charge of them and no way to help themselves.
Stop your bitching people, Iraq is better off without Saddam Hussein regardless of their lack of participation in 9/11.
I'm sick of hearing people attack the war like its a band wagon that they just hop onto and then go "oh but of course I support the troops!"
Screw you, no you don't.
War is never easy. EVER
OH! And stop criticizing President Bush like its the only thing your brain can put out.
He is our President and he isn't going anywhere, so whether you agree with him or not, you should take it upon yourself to pray for him and hope that he makes the best decisions he is capable of making for this country.
Oh and another thing: He really isn't a bad President, nor will he be thought of as one in the future.
Remember: Lots of folks hated Lincoln, too (enough to form their own country as soon as he got elected!). Lincoln is now revered as one of our best Presidents.
Moving on:
I am pro equal rights.
I believe people of all colors, sexes, orientations, etc.. should be viewed equally.
I have liberal mindsets. "Liberal" is not a negative word.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant.
If you want my opinion on something, just ask. I am very outspoken about my beliefs regardless of whether or not they offend anyone.
And on a related note, I believe political satire (as long as it is taken as comedy and not as truth in itself) is one of the best things to happen to this country.
The media lies. Not ALL the time, but more than they should.
I love talking.
About myself.
About music.
With people.
Out problems.
Not about them.
Im shy when you first meet me however.
I dont like groups of people.
I tend to tense up.
I dont like parties very much.
Although occasionally I indulge.
I hate drinking/smoking/drugs.
Moreso, I hate people who base their lives around them.
(Some life huh?)
I hate people who use them as an excuse to act stupid.
I hate people who try too hard.
I hate gothic kids (try too hard).
I hate preppy kids (try too hard).
I hate scene kids (try too hard).
I hate hate HATE stoners.
(Try too hard/stupid/worthless/etc..)
Or any combination of the above mentioned. (even worse)
I hate "anti-system" kids.
You are just as much a part of your "system" as me.
The "system" is not a bad thing.
And its here and not going anywhere so get over it.
You aren't fooling anyone.
I guess you can call me a sell-out.
Thats fine with me.
At least I'm original about it.
I am a very busy person and next year will get even worse
So don't waste my time.
I Swim year round, (New South Swimming go Snakes!)
Coach during the summer, (Go Gators!)
And am an AP Student. (IB isn't worth it.)
Any free time is devoted to music and friends.
I love my friends to death.
They know who they are.
If you aren't sure if you're my friend chances are you aren't.
This isn't to say I'm a dick (I can be), I just usually let people know when I like them (or don't). I have an awesome girlfriend who is almost as stupid crazy dorky as I am.
These people are awesome. Supportive. Motivating. Amazing.
They pretty much rock.
I could go on forever,
But this is all for now.
If you have a question feel free to ask.
