The usual sort of stuff: hanging out with the friends, road trips, backyard cook-outs, getting my butt kicked at bowling (and horseshoes...and darts....), good conversation, inane conversation, a hearty laugh, and the feelin'of two-wheelin'.
Anyone interesting with a slightly off-kilter sense of humor. Oh yea, and a brain. No haters, no zealots. I don't need either of those in my life.
Anything except hardcore gangsta or opera. A random sampling of my musical tastes, in absolutely no particular order of preference, would include artists like: Bob Marley, Green Day, Allman Brothers, The Clash, System of a Down, Elvis Costello, Shawn Colvin, The Wyatts (support your local musicians!!), Joan Armatrading, Trisha Yearwood, Joan Jett, Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison, Salt N Peppa, Theory of a Deadman, Spin Doctors, She Wants Revenge, Reel Big Fish, Cake, Led Zeppelin, George Thoroughgood, The Pretenders, Etta James, Aerosmith, Susan Tedeschi, Mozart, Bach or Beethoven, most anything with a zydeco/calypso/Caribbean feel, Wynonna, Benny Goodman, Wheezer, The Band, Bonnie Raitt, White Stripes, Beatles, The Subdudes, Aretha Franklin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shakira, Ray Charles, and the list goes on....
varied tastes from blockbusters to indies, and yes, I don't mind reading the subtitles in a good foreign film: like...Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, Shawshank Redemption, Indiana Jones type adventures, Goodfellas, Monty Python (Holy Grail would be first), Braveheart, Kissing Jessica Stein, anything with Katherine Hepburn and/or Spencer Tracy, The Station Agent, Gladiator, Desert Hearts, Sixth Sense, Finding Nemo, Shrek, and I'm sorry to admit I'm a sucker for stupid romantic comedies.
Mostly of the CSI or Law and Order variety. Documentaries, PBS oddities, and history channel stuff. Really enjoy Grey's Anatomy and Men in Trees, along with any old re-runs of Will and Grace or Sex In The City.
Yes, you can safely assume that I read. Lots of favorites, including Rita Mae Brown, Robert Heinlein, John Grisham, Sherlock Holmes stories, biographies, historical tales, and non-fiction crime.
Kermit the Frog. And then there are all those run of the mill second place types like my parents, Jonas Salk, Albert Einstein, Gandhi, you know the drill.
