..Company V (that's "vee," not "5") is a Dallas-based group consisting of long-time musicians who are also long-time friends. Their collective talent for performing 80's rock favorites regularly brings audiences out of their seats, and the freshness of the occasional current tune thrown in makes even the younger generations stand up and shout.Company V is becoming a household name in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene, but you can catch them doing regular shows in places like Austin and Oklahoma City as well. The members of the band all have extensive live experience. Two of Company V's members were a part of the band Vintage which, in years past, has been a favorite at O'Rileys in Dallas, TX. They've also headlined the last three years at Woodstump in Poetry, Texas, and played other events around DFW such as the KZPS "Bringing in the Weekend" parties. Recently, Company V was one of the final two bands in 93.3 The Bone's Battle of the Bands, competing for the opening spot for the 2004 Bone Bash. They are regulars at Sherlock's Baker St. Pub in Addison, Dallas, and Arlington, at 221B Baker St. Pub in Oklahoma City, but also do occasional shows at Cedar Street Courtyard in Austin, Firewater Bar & Grill in Dallas, and other regional venues, and are a regularly requested band for private parties.
