Language of analysis are not your average everyday rock band. L.O.A are not a predictable, clichéd, boring, sterile, done before, wannabe rock band, like most of the posers out there!
L.O.A pushes the boundaries of music to the very limits, conceptually, lyrically, visually and musically. L.O.A represents a new way of thinking, a progressive and artistic way of thinking that is all about moving forward.
Influenced by many different bands, artists, ideas and concepts, L.O.A are on a mission to take music to a new place by combing each band member’s collective influences to create something original and unique.
Their sound is hard to describe, mixing the likes of metal, prog rock, jazz fusion, funk, blues, classical and bad ass rock n’ roll, and influenced by such artists as Steve Vai, The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Tool, Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad, King Crimson, Dream Theatre, Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War of the Worlds and countless other forward thinking, bands and artists.
L.O.A also take inspiration from non-musical sources such as the work of Albert Einstein, who was a big influence on the bands first E.P, as well as the teachings of other philosophers, movies, books, television programs, pornography, politics, religious beliefs and world affairs.
The band expresses their ideas through odd time signatures, heavy riffs, jazzy chords, modulations and sub divisions to create huge epic songs, but still manage to hold on to a memorable hook and groove like a mother fucker!
