Beautiful Meltdown is an up and coming name in the music industry. Compiled of members from different projects, these talents have merged together to form a sound and a prescence all thier own.
Leading the way with her powerful range, sultry sound and undeniable lyrics and passion is Katie Morris. Katie has already left her mark on the industry with her former projects including the very successful artist Mr. Plow and the fan favorite Katie Morris Project. From touring the country to selling out Hollywood, she's done it all. Now she's set out to conquer the rock world.
Shortly after Soundtrapp parted ways, Dustin Woody met Katie. Dustin was the guitarist of the former midwest powerhouse Soundtrapp. Dustin and Katie started jamming in late June 06 and were clueless as to the magic that would be created. After the first hour of playing together the duo had embarked upon what some labels have called "genius." They had more than 12 songs in 2 weeks and both knew they were on the verge of something great.
With Dustin came the flawless perfection on the bass from Martin Hernandez and the intense drums from Brandon Smith, both also from Soundtrapp. Known for his wild and crazy stage show, Martin makes this lineup exciting to watch. With his smooth melodic bass lines he's a perfect fit for a solid rhythm section.
Brandon Smith may come off shy and quiet at first, but get him behind the drums and hes a madman! When he's feeling it, you will definately feel it with him. His superb timing and heart pounding beats Combined with Martin is yet another plus to the rhythm section, making it a sound all their own.
Together this unstoppable foursome knew they had something special, and obviously so did others. With only being together not even a month the band is getting offers from different entertainment groups, companies, tv shows and labels. But don't take this the wrong way, they're very selective and are looking for the right deal for them. The band's desire to reach out and touch thier fans and make music that stands for something is all they need to keep them pressing on. The music will take you to another place, but the group in itself will make you happy to be a music lover.
