About Maki Squarepatch
Maki Squarepatch is a story about a lucky cat. Maki was found as a baby lost and injured along the highway. Mom picked her up, took her home where we gave her lots of love and a new home with kitty and poochie pals.
The story of Maki Squarepatch is about taking discarded/untreasured items, bringing it home and with a special touch, giving it a new life, and a new home. With the same ideology, the motto of Maki Squarepatch is to recycle and reconstruct, for in anything that one person discards, there is somebody out there who will appreciate and treasure it. We love getting our hands on anything that are kitsch, vintage, pre-loved or just plain odd.
Maki Squarepatch is a joint effort by sisters enqi and xin. Being environmental-friendly and nature-loving, we strongly advocate reusing and recycling. You can find vintage/retro spendors (mainly clothes and accessories from 50s to 80s) as well as reconstructed vintage items (dolls, purses, etc), where the products are seasonal depending on current mood and inspiration. We also work with new-only materials to come up with products in limited quantities. We're open for retail and wholesale orders.
