About Me

The creator is Lauren.
Here's what she wants you to know about her brainchild:
"As a feminist and anti-imperialist who hates the way women are targeted by advertising and made into consumers from the day they're born, I'm in to conservation. Not only do I enjoy redoing old clothes (thrift store finds, torn up stuff from my closet, etc), but I also like creating stuff from scratch that women can feel comfortable and unique in. I try to buy fabric that I know is made in decent factories with decent working conditions whenever possible. Regardless, I tend to keep my prices low so that a purchase doesn't strain the checkbook. I also very much love to network with other crafters, and I'm always willing to make non-monetary trades with others... it'd be hypocritical for me not to!! For you non-crafting dudes and dudettes--- my prices can be negotiable, so if you really love something but just can't find the cash, I can either hold it or make a deal with you. Just offer and I'll let ya know! Peace."
