This Rapper/Producer/Songwriter/CEO is by no means a rookie to the music game.The seasoned vet has been making records since he was a teen running the streets of Oak Cliff,(a southwest section of his hometown Dallas,Texas.First erupting on the scene in the 90's with the group S.W.I.F.F. & later on formed the duo GOODPLAYUHZ with Suave' Dre an album that many consider to be a classic to this day..(with bids on ebay recently reaching 117.00!) "REAL TALK" Google it POTNA! COACH COGNAC then later went on to form his own company GAME TECH ENT. and released his 2002/03 solo debut PLAY IT,LIKE I SAY IT! which boasted hits such as Hate The Game,Somebody Like Me,Definition of a Player &Money just to name a few..and is also considered a classic amongst REAL Go-Gettaz EVERYWHERE! After a couple of years of featuring on various mixtapes and the release of his own 2005 Street Illustrated vol.2 mixtape (hosted by DJ Steve Nice) COACH COGNAC has teamed up with Dallas based label SOUTH PAW MUSIC for his second highly anticipated solo "LAST CALL" scheduled for release in summer 07. So whether expressing his displeasure with ALL THE FRAUDS&LAMES or the NON-INDEPENDENT TRIFLING DAMES! COACH COGNAC is simply here to let you know that we're all players in this game called life,it's just that some of us start...some sit on the bench...&the rest of us don't play right!customize
