“Even though it was established in America, CALLE was born on the streets of countries all over the world. We [the founders] followed our obsession and literally traveled and lived in cultures where soccer is life (Spain, Bolivia, Mexico, and Brazil just to name a few). Where kids play soccer everywhere they go– all the time.
We realized something during these years of observing and playing on the dirt, in the sand, and on the street… Our American friends were missing something huge. Created in July of 2006, the game of CALLE brought the field to your street, giving you a chance to build the skills that the rest of the world kept a secret for so long. We did something that has never been done before, and the result was a movement that has created a lifestyle.â€
