In the mid 90's underground sticker label tapes were big and they gave alot of struggling artist the opprotunity to shine. Being in North East Mississippi exposed our ears to the Memphis Underground sound.Memphis and Tupelo are only :90 minutes away from each other. So alot of artists were influenced by one another and everybody had similar soundz. The first popular project to be produced by Mix Masta Chris was the new ressurection tape by Pac - Man in 95. 1996,Mr. LPD and Bigg Daddy aka Lord C. formed the duo, P.C.P (Paper Chasin Playaz) which made up part of the group 2 Macks & A Pimp. P.C.P "Byg Boi Pimping Chapter 1 & 2 was released in 96. The first Mr. LPD solo project was released in 97' and was entitled "Return of tha Pimp." This tape was the start of the future.Murder Dog Magazine even mentioned Mr. LPD from that tape in one their earlier issues withe Three-Six -Mafia on the cover page.
