About Me
Music has always played a key role in my life - it has always been my passion. Having grown up in a music biz family, many of my earliest memories are of several concerts I attended as a small child with my parents. Around age 10, I discovered KISS and became a Rock fan for life. Led Zeppelin, The Stones, and Journey were some of my faves in my pre-teen years. Black Sabbath was my first Rock show, at age 13 at The Forum in Los Angeles. I saw countless shows during my teen years - Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Robert Plant, Soundgarden, Iron Maiden, Poison, Golden Earring, INXS, Ozzy, Metallica, Deep Purple, just to name a few.Around the time I left for college at age 17, I saw my first Grateful Dead show at Irvine Meadows. It was an amazingly positive, uplifting experince, and I eventually saw about 30 Dead shows during my college years. I also developed an affinity for U2, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, The Cult, and Jane's Addiction while re-discovering The Beatles, Traffic, The Doors, Cream, and Yes.After college, I started working for All That Jazz, my family's radio promotion company. I have always respected and appreciated Jazz and Blues, especially Ray Charles, Count Basie, Wes Montgomery, and Louis Armstrong.Today my musical taste covers a wide range, from Rock to Jazz, Blues to Hip Hop, 70's Funk to Alternative. My passion for music has been, and always will be an intregal part of me.
