I love trying ethnic foods, and going down the west coast on a wine-tasting spree or microbrewery ale-fest. We always have a blast at cultural events with music, dancing, and food.

This band rocks and they are such cool people, go to ~ Agnus Jackson
I was raised on country, but I'm a total metal head. Different types of music are to be explored and I try to as often as possible.
I am involved in On The Waterfront - Illinois' largest music festival as the Marketing Assistant, and this year rocked! In 2007, Shinedown was my fav performer at the festival!

Grease is my favorite musical and whether it's in movie or play form-I try to catch it. My daughter did a jazz ballet version and it totally rocked!

Grease, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Signs, Fight Club, Misery, and anything by Quentin T., M. Night Shyamalan, or Monty P. I like to watch movies that are based on books - and so far, "Misery" by Stephen King is my favorite book-to-screen. Since I am a huge fan of the X-Men ( I used to watch it diligently years ago), it's cool to see movies now. I am a medieval buff so anything that takes me to that time is well worth seeing.
BattleStar Galactica is wonderful, CSI is totally cool, as well as 24. I don't watch too much tv unless it is winter.
My daughter has read hundreds if not thousands. I have read over 1000 as well and enjoy finding a good story. The Hobbit is my favorite book as well as LOTR and Harry Potter.
All of Stephen King's books, but I really enjoyed Misery, The Green Mile, The Stand, Cujo (book is ten-thousand times better than that corny movie they made), Rose Madder, Secret Window/Secret Garden, Thinner, Salem's Lot, The Dark Tower - all 7 novels, and The Mist...creepy and could actually happen. I loved Night Breed by Clive Barker, John Keel's The Mothman Prophecy (if you've seen the movie, please read the book, it's much more in-depth), and Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven. Of course, Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series! The Road Less Traveled and other self help books. Two words - Shakespeare Rules! My fav shakespeare is "A Midsummer's Night Dream", but I love all of his work (Othello, Romeo & Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, Much Ado About Nothing, to name a few). I love fantasy novels and I recommend:
"Kushiel's" series by Jacqueline Carey - this series is my favorite by a female author and has a very strong female lead character.
"A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George RR Martin - this series is my favorite by a male author and has so much depth and richness that I feel in another world entirely while reading it, YOU HAVE TO READ IT!
"The Eye of the World" series by Robert Jordan (r.i.p. you will be sorely missed and thank you) and "The Wayfarer Redemption" series by Sara Douglass, Jacqueline Carey's "Kushiel's" series, and Elizabeth Haydon's "The Symphony of Ages" series are absolutely four of the best series in print. "Pilgrim", the 5th book in the Wayfarer Redemption series was awesome! "Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows" made me cry from page 18. The 4th book in the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George Martin, called A FEAST FOR CROWS, was fantastic! GET the series!
