.. So I'm supposed to say stuff about me like I like these movies, music is my life, and I'm cool because, that's what everyone does right? But does that really tell you anything about me at all? I don't think so. If you think I'm being to dramatic right now stop reading cause it gets well worse I suppose.My life has completely changed in the last year. I suppose it is somewhat of a "growing period" but either way it's different and the stuff that used to mean the world to me doesn't even exist anymore. I've lost friends I never thought I would lose, dreams that I believed would come true have been shattered, and as always love has been lost.Now don't expect me to mope and whine about how my life sucks and I'm going to committ suicide or something becuase I assure you that won't happen. I love life, and I have faith that things will get better, (That's right I believe in God, if you don't that's fine, but don't give me all this shit about how God doesn't exist because I'm not going to change my mind).To make an amanzingly long story short. I want to change the world (who doesn't) by being in a band (I know, what makes me special eh? who doesn't want this to happen to them). I have been in a band called Ground Wire and we changed our name in our last month together to Season's Fade. You can listen to us here if you want www.myspace.com/seasonfade . To point out the obvious, we are not together anymore (this is the part "i lost friends i never thought i would lose") I still consider them somewhat my friends but we basically went from being brothers to casual aquaintances, and it sucks ass. I can't speak for them, but I really believe that none of them are willing to sacrifice what they need to in order to make this happen.So in the long and short that's what this whole spiel is about. I'm looking for people to help bring my dream back to life. I'm not looking to become corporate pieces of shit, I want to play the music I love, and if it gets mass attention then good, if it doesn't then that's good too. If you want to know what kind of music I want to play, well I want to do something that hasn't been done before, I don't want to be classified into one or two genres. I want to be everything.I really try not to be narrow-minded about music. To prove this point, here are some bands on my ipod right now: ACDC, Alexisonfire, Angels and Airwaves, Anti-Flag, Bedouin Soundclash, Billy Talent, Chiodos, Dashboard Confessional, Dropkick Murphys, Everclear, From First to Last, Goo Goo Dolls, hardcore logo, illscarlet, journey, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, Ok Go, Protest the Hero, Queen, Rage Against the Machine, The receiving end of sirens, the red hot chili peppers, Rise against, Saosin, Slipknot, Straylight Run, Strike Anywhere, Taking Back Sunday, Ten Second Epic, Tenacious D, Underoath, The Used, The Who, Yellowcard, and 30 seconds to mars. And that's just to name a few. I have written songs in all of these styles of music and there's is more to come.To be perfectly honest, I could do a solo-project I know how to write what I consider not bad music for all instruments (I don't know how to play them all, but horaay for technology). However, I want to be a band, I want to find new brothers or sisters to do this with. People that I actually enjoy spending time with too, not just hired guns.Now don't let this throw you off, I'm not some up tight serious guy who never laughs. I love the office, I do drink but I don't smoke cause I don't want to ruin my voice, I enjoy acting like I'm 5 (ie Jumping off buildings, naked butt sliding, streaking, doing jackass stunts) and yes i do those on regular occasion. So for the long and short of it, I sing, play guitar, and some piano. I am looking for one or two guitarists, a bassists, and a drummer.
