Hey, I'm from Texas (born and raised) but now I'm in Philadelphia pursuing a graduate degree at Penn. I'm loving it so far, and I've got at least a year left!
If you like karaoke, comedies, theater, old movies, Thai food, international travel, going to the opera, speaking Spanish, or square dancing (can you believe it?), you have something in common with me. :) Even if not, get in touch with me. You can't have enough friends, and it would be nice to have someone to go do things with around the city when I can free myself from the shackles of my lab bench. I'm single and available, so take a chance.
In addition to being witty and friendly, I'd say I'm pretty easygoing. However, if you are a drug user or a heavy smoker, move along.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet outgoing, intelligent, and good-looking (hey, I'm not going to lie) guys to hang out with. It'd be great if we had compatible senses of humor and interests. Mainly it'd be nice to join a group of people who are familiar with the city and who can introduce me to what makes Philly great.
That's who I'd like to meet. As for what I'd like to own:
The Scottish Highland cow, also known as a "hairy coo". Possibly the cutest animal I've ever touched.

I'm on a bit of a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons kick right now.

Movies:

Clue, The Emperor's New Groove, The Incredibles, Wait Until Dark, The Man Who Knew Too Much, anything with Jimmy Stewart, Audrey Hepburn, or Alfred Hitchcock
But not so much Kim Novak. She's beautiful, but she can't act.

Television:

Lost, Heroes, Brothers and Sisters, Code Monkeys, The Whitest Kids U Know, Wheel of Fortune, and Deal or No Deal.

Books:

Harry Potter, scientific journal articles (lawl). I finally read Frankenstein and really enjoyed it. If I had more free time, I'd read more.

I've been in my room all weekend. I walked down the hallway once to throw out some trash that was starting to smell. Otherwise, seriously all weekend. This damn presentation...why can't journal art...
