About Me

Also known as Blam Blam or The Monkey Drummer, Mighty Danny has been making music since about 1987 in various bands (Jack Knife Daisy, The Sex Monkeys, Lotus Redding) and on his own in the The South Circular Records Studio. The music is quite eclectic ranging from D&B and Breaks to Folk and Hip Hop. Hardcore exposure to The Lazerdrome in the 90's has left an impression on Mighty Danny's sound which is still apparent. Though Mighty Danny's first love is playing the drums he also plays guitar, bass, tuned and untuned percussion, and various novelty instruments acquired over the years.
