I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Artist, feminist, socialist, perfectionist, believer in free thought, and finder of other ways to spend my life banging my head against a brick wall. I'm a writer, performer, puppet-builder, costume designer, banner painter, and one half of Gawkagogo. I live in London, which I love and appreciate like only someone who wasn't born here can. Here's the website which covers all my work collaborating with the brilliant Paul Garner:
And here's a photo of me with my new son. He rules.
GAWKAGOGO NEWS!
We've taken some time off to have a baby, but we'll be back with a new version of the Gawkagogo Freakshow sometime in the spring. It will be marvellous.
Pay sixpence to see the freaks!
Meanwhile, here's another photo of my lovely son.
And here's another one.
And the wonderful Urban Voodoo Machine have written a song about us. How cool is that?
..
And for those of you who're interested, my lung disease is much better. But it's still worth showing you my impressively manky CT scan :)
That's a cross-section of my chest. The black things are my lungs, and the white blobs are the disease that's decided to live in them :) The good news is, the tests to see if it had spread to my heart, brain, eyes or kidneys all came back negative, so it looks like I'll live. :) Just don't smoke near me: lung disease sucks.
END OF GAWKAGOGO NEWS!

Here are some of the characters I play:
That's Dali Parton, Dennis Hopperfield, Norma Guntz, Miss Fortune and Nosferatutu, if you were wondering :) And here's a happy photo of me on the Vegas Strip!
I like dressing up and going out. I like working too hard. I also like doing bugger all. I like clubs with a dress code. I like anything to do with freakshows. I like people who have no idea when to stop.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who still say "come the revolution..." not "when I win the lottery...". People who aren't selling anything, particularly religion. People who do things rather than talking about doing things. People who're just wrong. People with great tattoos. People who want to give me money. Or buy me drinks. People who know where the drugs are kept. My son at 4am wanting more milk.
