Band Members: J. SONGUI, FAT SEAN, AND YA BOY.... MARYLAND'S FINEST
Influences: Man I'm just holding it down baby. I got love for everybody. From D.WOOD TO YOUR HOOD. I'm originnaly a FLORIDA NATIVE, shouts out to Duval County, Fat Sean, Jason C, Dame and Jessica the Star. After alot of bullshit I was shipped off to Maryland, basically being reincarnated and making me the man I'am today.... MARYLAND'S FINEST... DA MONSTAR.... and B.L.O.W......Basically I started rappin when I was 15, it didn't really last long because I had my hands tied up in other thangs, plus I played sports. At that time I know I didn't understand everything about Hip Hop or recognize it's true beauty. I wanted to understand though out of respect. Growing up all I listened to Was Tupac so whatever he didn't say I didn't know. I didn't gro up on cable so I never really got to see videos of all other artist. I swear to God when I graduated High school The only Cd's I had other than Pac was Nas - Illmatic, Snoop - Doggystyle, Redman - Doc's Da Name and A Brian Mcknight Joint. I didn't care to hear anyone else anyway. He was my guide. "that Man was like my Dad"Music itself never capivated me, it was just the lyrics. I was really big on that shit. What finnaly did inspire me to rhyme was a dude named Jamil Wynn. He was from North Carolina. We used to just blaze and have long talks late night about everything. Shit foreal he got me smoking! Then it got to a point where all we did was just blaze and freestyle, that dude wasn't even a rapper. But when he was high he could rhyme his ass. I guess since he was hood foreal anywayz all that shit was just built in him. He used to ask me questions about Hip Hop and I didn't really know alot of the answers because I wasn't in tune to everything like that. So he bought me Old Cd's of Nas, Jay Z, Scarface, Rakim, UGK, Biggie, Mobb Deep, Reakwon, Common. I'm sayin alot of shit.... wit his own dough. All that must of been ah Grip!!! Man I will always respect Jamil. Too bad I don't know where he is today. After that it was a rap I was molded and ready to go to work. Rhyming for me was always easy because I had a lot to say and I used to do a lot of mature reading and write poetry.I always used to write poems for hommies to get them out of jams and forge signatures cause I had good hand writing and vocabulary.I just wanna say Everybody that's out there rhyming keep doin your thing and just go hard. everyday you waste in the street's is another day.. People aint gettin no younger and time goes by like that hommie. Make that money and change somebody's life. Real talk! Ya'll Be Easy.
