Trumpet Playing Singer

Hi...Where to start....Hmmm. How about with this. I am a guy that has been divorced for about 4 years. Only have one child and he does not live at home. I am looking for friends and more. I am not currently dating but would be interested in meeting someone to get to know and see where it goes. I have found that if you put too many limitations on what you want out of a person then you limit your opportunities to meet someone that could be truly fantastic. So I am very open minded about who I want to meet. I will tell you some of my interests and if I sound interesting then contact me. I love music. Most kinds except rap and heavy metal. I play trumpet as a hobby and sometimes I even get paid for it. I don't do it for the money though I have been told that I should. I play lead trumpet and conduct a 16 piece big band called the Overtones. We have been together now for close to 10 years. We play all over the Kansas City metro area and would love to have people come and check us out. I also have been playing 1st chair trumpet in an orchestra. However when our conductor recently decided to retire and move away the orchestra folded. So I am currently looking for other outlets to play in. I love movies and work for a major dvd rental company. So I get my fix all the time. I read a lot. Mostly science fiction and fantasy. I am also a comic book collector. I have an interest in learning about new things. The older I get the more I find that I don't know jack about this world. So I would love to meet people who have things to teach me about. I am a very uncomplicated person who just wants to find more in life than what I have now. So if I sound interesting then contact me.
