I was stood up at the altar by my fiancee Linda, she decided that the prospect of marrying a guy who sings as a wedding singer doesn't equal the attraction she felt when I was lead singer in a rock band years ago. after that I fell in love with Julia, a waitress at the wedding receptions and bar mitzvahs where I perform. Julia asked me to help her plan her upcoming wedding to Glenn Gulia(that would make her Julia Gulia if they get married), who isn't interested in the details of the ceremony. later I learn that Glenn also isn't interested in Julia and is marrying her because she "deserves it" after sticking with him for years and because he knows she's not marrying him for his money, since she dated him back before he started pulling down the big bucks. I live with my sister in her basement and sing in the band at the reception hall. my dreams of being a singer/songwriter are long gone, replaced now by a burning desire to get married. The problem is that no one seems to want to marry me,But Julia is interested in me and we winde up engaged to be married at the end and some how Billy Idol seems to fit into all this.
