This page is in memory of Ryan Ortleb. Feel free to leave comments. If you would like to log in under this name and write a blog email me at [email protected]. Thanks. Memories... *April Wardell- Art Class my freshman year...Ryan and Wayne..even thou it wasn't something that anyone would remember but..it was the best and listening to wayne and ryan joke around and watching those two piss mrs. starzman off. Its almost been two years and every time Im in brick and on or even close to drumpoint road I go into a funk. I miss him. :/ *Kasey Ramoth- I remember him in Bio, always sleeping....and the teacher would be like, Mr. Ryan Ortleb, are you paying attention? And he'd say, Naw, not really, sorry Mrs. Krausman. and he'd go right back to sleep. And he was always saying Frig you to people. He was hilarious and will be missed by anyone who knew him. **Robby Berg- I remember all the good times and i remember all the bad one when ort beat me up for my first time when I was 11 at the park. And I miss picking him up at Manhattan Bagel because his dad wouldnt let him drive the BMW, aLL I have to say is that it sucks that your gone and NOBODY will ever be the same again. **Gary Glatt- Jay was driving Ort's Honda and we pulled up to some kid's house and started making fun of him. Ed Curley was there and he hated Jay so Jay went to do a burnout leaving and blew up the trans putting the Honda II out of commission. We had to get out of the car and the three of us pushed the Honda down the street like a bunch of ass holes. **Ryan Ramoth- Me, Tyler White, and Ort took out the BB guns for a little afternoon hunt. Little did we know, we were the prey. Pellets came flying by as Ort screamed, "Flashbacks! I'm having flashbacks!" **Miriam O'Donnell: We'd walk on the boardwalk and he'd be wearing a long shirt and he'd pull down his pants around his ass and bend over like he dropped something right in front of old people and strangers. **Katie Mallet: I knew him since he played basket ball with my brother in front of my house. We went through the skinny stage together and pulled each other out- I called him my sugarlips. I also remember at my Senior Ball he threw a tampon at my table. **Kimberly Balk: He used to listen to me cry about the ex and would sit in front of my house with me for hours talking me through my problems. He once said, "You're a great person. No matter how much I make fun of you and call you crazy I still love you." **Jenn Pedersen- I spirit like that never dies. He always told me he liked me 'cause I was one of the guys. One time we got in a fight playing beer pong and he sprayed me with Windex. I sprayed him back and it got in his mouth and he threw beer on me. We laughed and got over it- I remember the beer muscles. **James DePonte- He came over my house to put the fuel pump in my first Mustang and the car almost caught fire. But he sat and explained different motors to me and I learned a lot from him. **Anthony Nakash: We had first period English together our senior year of high school and we sat next to each other. Ort asked if I drove the Splash and I told him, "yeah." "Is it fast?" "It's pretty fast" I kept talking and he kept listening until finally he said, "When's this kid gonna shut up?" I laughed - from then on... it was us. **Canadian: Ghetto D, Kim, Ort, Dante and me went to light a firework off in front of someone's house and Ryan lit it off in the car and lit Kim's jacket on fire. **Lindsey Rutledge: First time I met him I almost ran him over with my Caddie. But we partied together for the first time at Eddie Curley's house and as we were leaving he gave me a hug and I was like, "Ort, I love you, you're one of my best friends." He said, "I love you, too!" **Ross: He came to my rescue and picked me up after I got in an accident on Route 9. **Jacob Montanaro: He was drunk and crying and wound up driving his car up my lawn into my mother's garden. Then he went inside and tried pantsing me and pulled my pockets off, along with the ass. Everyone saw it all. He felt bad for ripping the pants, not for embarassing me. **Gina Pettyjohn: I think I was going out with him for like two days and he hadn't met my dad yet. The doorbell rang and he was standing there in a bathrobe making the infamous tough face. My face dropped and my dad walked up behind me as I let Ryan in. He shook my dad's hand and said, "Hey, Mr. P," and gave him a hug. Ryan went into the basement and my dad asked, "What the fuck is wrong with him?" But I was already head over heels- that was what I loved about him. **Dante Napoli: I met him in class because we both like Mustangs. He always got pissed when I told him mine was faster. But at the end of the day when the pranks and jokes were done, we were best friends. No matter where we were he made it fun and he gave us something to do whether it was just driving around or him making a fool of himself and us laughing. But I said this before. You know that one person at the party you look for when you get there that you want to be there more than anyone else? He was it for me. **Erin Beddiges: In middle school when he was still fat we all went swimming and he was trying to splash all the water out of the pool. Then we had a rubber band fight. He was nuts **Wayne King: He called me Xena, Warrior Princess. I think it started when I was lifting more weights than him. He called me that for some reason; I don’t know, it just makes me laugh. **Lisa Hammell: Once he pulled out in front of me, cutting me off, spun wheels in the BMW, gave me the finger and screamed, ‘Hammell!’ I just smiled and laughed. **“Get on it!” “Nice friggin’ girl” “Apparently” “What the frig?” “Heyyyyhowsitgoin?” “Slide tackle!”

Ryan aka "ORT"

It's been great to be able to read some of the stories about Ryan- we miss him terribly.  It's been a little over 2 years and yet it seems like yesterday that I would hear him coming home... some...
