Turbulence

Around 1995, Young B.U.C.$ and Young Tee were both making music on a solo effort; however, they figured that things would come faster if they became a combination instead of competition. Officially, their 1st group name was Youngbloodz (which a few ole heads said they were), but that ended after the name was taken by a duo from ATL (yall know who they are). For the next 4 years, Turbulence worked on mixtape tracks by rapping over established artists tracks and adding their voice in spots by other featured artists. Through their association with Right Out The Country (R.O.T.C.) a.k.a. Gangsta Playaz, Turbulence joined on with Step Off Productions (S.O.P.) under the moniker "Young Thugz" and began preparation for their 1st album. As usual, drama follows every aspiration for greatness and their situation at the label soon turned sour. More or less, things imploded among the artists and the label head. Seeing that they had another obstacle to overcome in their career, they decided to take things back to square one: Do it ya damn self!! Teaming up with Pit Stop Productions, they developed the material of their self-titled debut, Turbulence. Soon after finding street success/acceptance from the album, they released the much anticipated mixtape Shakin Sh** Up. Once again, however, drama ensued once again with a local artist whose name will remain undisclosed (that's water under the bridge now, he-he). Then again....nah, we'll keep going!!With the pressure of trying to keep their names hot in the streets, these youngsters affiliated themselves with a childhood friend and began working under the label Mud Music Inc. This situation allowed them to network with more artists in the area and out-of-town. With MMI, they helped host the mixtape MMI Vol.1: For the Streets to Talk. Upon completion of this task, they continued the quest to finish their most anticipated album. As things began to stall at MMI, they once agained continued their grind and helped build Big Boy Entertainment to complete the 1st phase of the "Southern Takeover."
