Oh Fook, now I really feel like a crap guitarist :).
Well ur here so you probs already know a fair bit about me.My recent history for anyone who might be interseted. About 12 years ago I met the girl who later became my wife ( Hi Li) she had a good accounting background and was soon able to get a job as an accounts assistant for a local company. Though this didnt make much money it enabled me to pursue my ambition of owning my own computer company and a short while later Mirage Systems was born. Mirage traded for 2 years but following the birth of our daughter Rhiannon I decided to take a well paid job I had been offered working as an IT engineer at Sellafield and Mirage closed down (With the books still in the black and not many computer companies can say that these days but hey I married an accountant). With the extra money coming in from my job, my wife was then able to do her MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) Exams and became an IT contractor and with her phenominal ability to learn it wasnt long before she started racking up the qualifications in both business management and IT and now she earns more than double my highest ever pay!!!!! Which is why about 4 years ago we moved to the area we are now living in and bought a shed - no Im not joking - we were able to sell our house and buy a shed. We were told it was an old blacksmiths shop but Im sure it was a shed, it was L shaped had a door, 1 window, soil floor, a roof (nearly), no water,no waste and to top all that it was sat in a swamp (yes Ive heard all the Shrek jokes). Needless to say everyone said we were mad but with the money from our house sale and Li's well paid job I was able to give up work and look after my daughter while turning this shed into a house. Well it took 2 years of living in a caravan and £45,000 to turn it into a house but what a house. Solid Oak beams, 2 foot thick granite walls, top of the range hardwood double glazing, not a single speck of white gloss crap anywhere just stained varnished wood, beautiful. Then came the horses - feck we have only got half an acre - time to move - but I just built this house !!!! - FECK. Oh well after searching long and hard we finally found what we were looking for and bought it. We now live in a nice private valley surrounded by pine forests and the rest of the surrounding land owned by a horse breeder, hence there is currently around 40 horses in the valley and our boys are well at home, apart from them having declared war on the rabbits that have tried to move in to their field, poor rabbits they're only trying to get away from the local fox. Ive just sold my 1963 Vox AC30 guitar amp and bought myself a nice spanking new Marshall stack and livened up my old SG with some nice new EMG Zakk Wylde series active pickups and formed a new band called Ravens 10. The band has a long road ahead but we have the money, brains and a bit of skill so heres hoping. Oh and Ive finally passed my motorbike test, the fast cars were all good fun but my last one my 300ZX Twin turbo was a 300bhp, 3.0l, V6, Twin Turbo, twin Intercooled, 4 wheel steering monster when I bought it then I added £3000 worth of mods includind Greddy Profec E01 Boost control, Blitz Supersound Dump valves, HKS air filter, Jim Wolfe Racing Chip, Twin 4inch exit exhausts, etc, etc, etc which took the power up to about 450bhp, the 0-60 down to around 4.5seconds and the mpg down to about 12 mile to the gallon - no Im not joking TWELVE mile to the gallon it cost me nearly £10 to go to the petrol station :). So I wanted some cheaper to run speed :). DiXiE
