About Me

Born and bred in central New Jersey Started piano lessons at age of 5. Picked up the guitar upon exiting High School. Been a member of a dozen bands playing originals annd coversThe First song I wrote (and kept ) was written in 1976 It was called "Friends With You" about unrequited love. It was the first song that a lot of people related to. Often times people who heard the song would come up to me and tell me how much it affected them personally. And I thought "this is pretty cool" how something I wrote might have an impact on someone on a personal level.I'm influenced from different styles of music. Blues and rock to country and folk and a bit of pop and jazz. Critics may say there is no continuity but I don't know that that's really a bad thing. I like that everything I do sounds different.I've been lucky to find an eclectic sort of wonderful musicians and singers to play with. I've come away with so much knowledge from each of them and hopefully all I can say is they've taken something of value from working with me.
