Red Carpet

The New Year started quite turbulently. Tomek joined us on the guitar and there were a number of gigs to be played, e.g. Bülach and a two-man unplugged concert by Fraui and Johnny - quite a full program. Especially if you consider the first airplays, a performance on the TV show “Mobile act” by Sat.1, and articles written in different daily newspapers about the Band and our CD. The Band also performed with Luca Honegger from Trice in the theatre production “Der tollste Tag” from KT12. Ten gigs in one month! That’s how it should always be. But after those four intensive months there was a sudden change. As Red Carpet was approaching summer with an open-air concert and autumn tour booked, Fraui decided to leave.
The Band started to get understandably but uncomfortably nervous. No singer- no concerts. No way!
Thankfully Fate, in her wondrous ways, intervened. On one memorable rainy Monday night a young lady from Baden met with the four guys of the Band for a practice session. It was immediately clear to everybody: This is it! A perfect match, an ideal cast – a new and promising chapter on Red Carpet’s journey has been opened!
The Band is complete once again: Natalia as lead singer, Alex on drums, Tomek and Johnny on guitar and Boli on base guitar. And summer is just around the corner with its first concert. On top of this we are furiously writing new songs and lyrics and hope to publish the first Red Carpet single with Natalia in autumn. The story goes on! Stay tuned and hang on in there with us!
