About Me

I live in the Piney Woods of East Texas and I love it. I think that it takes a village to raise a child and your family and friends are your village. I loved raising my children and all of their friends.
My husband and I formed a family with five children. Two boys and three girls. They were all teenagers at the same time, BLESS OUR HEARTS! They are now mommies, girl scout leaders, nurses, college students, future wildlife biologists, librarians, chefs, counselors, and navy officers. They live all over the country and maybe some day all of the world.
Our children so far have given us two beautiful granddaughters and four very handsome grandsons. My prediction for their future is computer graphic artist / movie archivist, the first mathematician lady president ballerina, stunt man / gymnast / model, the first man to play football, basketball, and baseball all at the same time and a future beauty queen / archaeologist and the youngest is way too small for predictions but I'll keep you posted.
My husband is a Vietnam Veteran. He is a really great man, a terrific father and grandfather. Because of my husband I have a passion for veterans especially the Vietnam Vets. To all Vietnam Vets
"Welcome Home"!
I'm a little stressed out by life sometimes but it's my own fault. Too much of a worrier, I guess. The bible verse "Martha, Martha, why do you worry so" was written especially for me.
And just in case you ever wonder who has the most beautiful grandchildren in the world,
that would be me!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

All of my grandchildren and some of my great-grandchildren! Because I believe in GOD and therefore Heaven, I would like to meet my great-grandmother Rhoda Naney Swafford. She was a midwife and cared for anyone that needed help. I want to sit and talk to her. I want to meet the person that Cures Autism and I want it to be soon.
