At 13 Sam first picked up the guitar and by 17 he was playing professionally. He has toured the club circuits in WV, OH, and Central FL for over 22 years in a variety of bands from death metal to country and everything in between.Sam’s open mindedness to different musical styles and textures are what sets him apart from the average musician: “Music is the one thing that can destroy the boundaries that exist between us. It is truly a universal language.”
In May 2006, Sam was awarded scholarship from world class guitarist and composer Uli Jon Roth (ex-Scorpions, Electric Sun) to attend the 1st annual Sky Academy seminars and concerts held at UCLA.
Sam is a self-taught guitarist who resides and teaches in Port Orange, FL. He writes, performs and produces his own music. He is a 1990 graduate of The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH. Sam is currently with a 4-piece alternative rock band called SkyHook .
He also performs solo shows throughout central Florida, utilizing his extensive background in classic rock, country, blues, alternative rock, jazz, classical and bluegrass to satisfy even the most diverse crowds. Contact 386-682-4675 or email [email protected]
