It was in mid-October last 2003 in Cagayan de Oro City where everything changed, searching for the perfect voice that was the only thing missing. The former band Drop Syndrome was no more and was desperately looking for a new voice and sound. It was just a spur of a moment, a one time jam session that turned out to be the beginning of everything. One single voice that gave them a second chance, a chance that made them one of the unique emo-core bands that stands for what they believed in. Last Junes sound is a mixture of punk, rock, emo and other sounds that came from individuals that really accepted what emotion is. A band that is a tribute to a friend who passed away last June 27, 2001, a friend that made them realize how important life is. Each of them has his own musical influence that fused them together to make their own sound. Each emotion, each angst, each solitude, each pain is what makes Last June.
