Eddy K

In its first nine months of existence, EDDY-K group performed as a hip hop duet, until August of 1998, when rapper Jorge Francisco Hernandez Carvajal (Jorgito) entered the group and ignited the stage with his dynamism and vocal strength.EDDY-K transformed into a hip hop duet once again when Kleydis decided to leave the group. Each performer with a special and different flow maintained the early groups success. EDDY-K , reached national popularity by writing the music and lyrics of the theme song for popular Cuban Television show called La Otra Geografía, which remained weekly on the air for 4 consecutive years. In July of 2000, the group evolved with the addition of singer Damian Aguirre Perez (Deep Drama) who successfully weaves in and out of Eddy and Jorgitos lyrics. Then at last, in November of 2001, EDDY-K group acquired its current quartet format with the entrance of the Disk Jake José Antonio Suarez Torres (DJ Tony). This addition has made for spectacular live performances.
