Howdy folks, the Lincoln County Social Club is a recording studio designed to record your band live off the floor. A 1500 square foot live room with high 14 foot ceilings, a vocal booth and two other isolation areas allow recording with minimal bleed so you can all play together (the way every band sounds best). The lack of bleed between instruments allows for easy editing.
There is also an extensive vintage instrument collection at your disposal which makes the Lincoln County Social Club a great place to do overdubs. There is a great sounding Upright piano and a vintage Wurlitzer piano for the keyboard players and a vintage Ludwig drum kit for the drummers.
I also play the bass. I am currently playing bass with Kathleen Edwards, NQ Arbuckle, Luke Doucet and Kate Rogers. In the past I've played with Sarah Slean, Sarah Harmer, Danny Michel, Oh Susanna, Jim Bryson, Steve Singh, Lindy, Melissa McClelland and The Skydiggers.
I also play guitar, sing, produce, engineer and write tunes. I produced Steve Singh's album "I Will Not Break Your Heart."
I used to front a band called the Smalltown Preachers, but that was a long time ago.
Do you listen to CBC radio? I played the guitar on the themes for "Sounds Like Canada" and "The Current."
I just played mandolin on a cool new tune by the band Loomer, who you should check out. I'll write more as I remember things.
Oh Yeah, I played bass on Sarah Harmer's album "I'm a Mountain." I'm on "The Ring" and "Goin' Out."
