About Me

I love happy and unusual things. I like listening to music in the shower, and I tend to cook late at night. I start the day with a run down the river trail, zipping around all the spandex-clad cyclists. The sound of running water always captivates me, I sit by it for minutes, hours. I like watching it move smoothly, almost in an ethereal way. I sneak out of bed to eat chilly grapes, and I love discovering new moods, new means of beauty, new sorts of delights and new types of sensuality. I love fresh smelling sheets, down-filled duvets, sweet smelling skin, and cuddling in the nook of someone's arms. I admire those who create things: the musicians, the artists, and the writers. I can spend hours in the water, sometimes I think I used to be a fish in my past life. I think it's just so beautiful to snuggle in someone's arms just after they've come out from a hot hot shower, smelling all fresh and feeling like a warm marshmallow. I just love that moment of desire when you want someone or something you know you shouldn't have, when you would do anything to make that one moment in time last forever. I like looking at people, their faces and their overt sentiments, and I always become completely captivated by the types of art people keep in their houses. I enjoy the things that make my heart pound with delight. I like poking through people's music collections, and I wish records were cheaper to buy. My best thoughts come to me in that last minute before I fall asleep, but I'm always too lazy to get up and write them down, and then I curse myself for it in the morning. I like staying in and watching movies with people who can just sit and be still for a while, and I love nursing an oversized glass of red wine. My new favourite winter-warm drink is hot chocolate with a healthy dose of butterscotch schnapps...so delicious! I have a secret jealousy of 50's pin-up girls, and part of me would love to be a burlesque temptress although I know it's just a fantasy. I've also been told I am really passionate, and I love showing people that side of me. I read translations of obscure foreign writers, and I love eating at those dingy resturants that are owned by families who make the best homecooked meals. I don't get tired of things or people, if I love you now chances are I always will. I'm not much of a fancy girl, I can fit in most of the time. If I had all the money in the world, I would travel for years upon years, learning as much as I can about the people I encounter. On days off you can catch me dancing, exploring or meeting, giving my spirit some soul-food. Although I have many I love, I'll admit I'm a hobo - I love being alone. I'm pretty easy-going though I am naive. And, I fall in love much too easily, but I think that's a good thing. And don't let my demurity mislead you because deep down I'm likely daydreaming of something lascivious.Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider

A tiny Hiroshima

My pulse raced as I drew near. This is true fear, I thought. I couldn't explain it - this anxious excitement I felt. The game was an old one, more than a pass-time or hobby. Although I remembered ...
