GERTCHA!

About Me

About me, eh? Hmm well... my name is Chris and I am from Fulham in West London. I am a proud supporter of Fulham FC and founder of the United Kingdom fanclub for the New England Patriots at UKPatriots.com . I also take a keen interest in the fortunes of the Boston Red Sox .

When I am not following sports, I spend most of my time at work as a Systems Architect for 192.com . The rest of my time is spent divided between listening to and playing music, playing on my Xbox360 (gamertag: FulhamPatriot) or Nintendo DS, watching TV, and going to the pub. I suppose I do also spend a rather large amount of time on the Internet and even sometimes programming out of work hours too... geek alert :|

I do also love travelling, and have been lucky enough to be sent to Chicago, Toronto and Antwerp with work in the past year. I have also spent some time in Florida, Boston, Finland and Italy over the last 18 months.

My Interests

I suppose my biggest interest is football - I am a season ticket holder at Fulham and have been since 1996. I also have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with american football and baseball - I try to get out to see the Patriots and the Red Sox at least once a year, and spend far too much time keeping tabs with their fortunes through the Interweb. I suppose I dedicate a fair amount of time to music too - whether it be through playing my bass guitar or going to gigs/festivals. Aside from those, my next biggest interest is also my profession - computing and programming.

Music:

I used to have a big list of bands and artists that I am into, but realised there are so many that I had left off. I'm basically well into my guitar music and my hip hop. Along with a big of Chas and Dave.

Movies:

The greatest film of all time is Superman II. Apart from that: Team America: World Police, Star Wars, Spiderman, X-Men, Anything Disney, Anything Pixar

Television:

Family Guy, Futurama, Takeshi's Castle, Alan Partridge, Borat, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bullseye, Knight Rider, The A Team, 24, Spooks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Eastenders, 80s Cartoons

Books:

Oh how I laughed...

Sorry - geek joke. Ho ho!

On a more serious note, right now my favourite book is "The World of Karl Pilkington", presented by Ricky Gervais.

Heroes:

What the deuce?!

Other heros: Alan Partridge. Borat. Wolf from the Gladiators. Karl Pilkington is also a bit of a hero; he could eat a knob at night.
