About Me

As soon as I learnt how to play the piano I got into writing songs. It's something almost inbred in me. I gained a thirst for the rock star lifestyle after dancing in a pop video aged 3. By 6 I recorded my first song called 'I've got the Rhythm'. When I reached secondary school I started to fully translate ideas into music and the rest is history. I listen to a wide variety of music and therefore I feel this is reflected through the music I create. I feel the music transcends genre, as it is what is in the heart that matters. I like to see each song as a canvas on which to paint musical ideas. In 2005 I was happy to win an international songwriting competition. I have enjoyed playing with a variety of different musicians-rock bands, jazz bands, jazz trio/duo, choirs, with flutists and lyricists..lots of talented people! I really believe that music can make the world go round, and that special song or piece has the power to inspire, communicate and translate what otherwise cannot be said in simple words. I feel we have a responsiblity as artists to keep filling the world with light, hope and encourage others to keep creating a better world. I am only at the beginning of my musical journey, and where it goes I'm not entirely sure but I'm looking forward to the ride. I hope you enjoy my music. Feel free to make any comments or suggestions! Thanks for reading and listening! :-) MyGen Profile Generator
