Soooo. . .I used to try to grandstand whenever I had opportunities like this before. I am editing my profile now to remove said long-windedness. I don't know how my friends stomached having me around. I talked too much about "intellectual" subjects. I don't even know if they were or not. Intellectual, that is. So now, I am going to list the things I am proud of.
1. My brother finally losing weight.
2. After 8 years, I might finally graduate college.
3. My mom for never giving up.
4. My dad for the same but in a different way.
5. My girlfriend Eiko for learning English and coming to America without knowing anybody. (that's hard, seriously. we don't think about that much, but imagine going to another country whose language you don't know too well, and trying to go to college. Incredible)
6. My other brother for how well he has stood up under the weight of an oppressive marriage. He is now divorced, and in my opinion, stronger than ever.
7. My ability at piano. I started this path not that long ago, and everyone said that I was too late to have a career in piano. That was a challenge. Not only am I about to have my senior recital at SFA, I am going to grad school, and I have earned two scholarships for playing. So there.
8. My friend Becca. Even though she probably hates me now and will never read this, I am proud of her. She got to college a year after me, graduated 2 years before me, and is now a Doctoral candidate at A&M. I am proud of you Bec, and I'm sorry.
9. Finally (for now), my relationship with God. I haven't been too good about this. And I think that I want more but don't know how to do it. Well, what better way than by saying it on the internet.
