Five friends set off on a reunion bow hunting trip in upstate New York. Joseph, the leader of the group, decides to take the road less traveled and trespasses onto private property. Lee, the conscience of the friends, begs the hunting party to head back to more familiar territory but the stubborn guys are determined to set up camp and begin their hunting adventure.
The first night Lee experiences strange nightmares and everyone wakes up to find items missing from the camp. The hunters pass it off as curious raccoons. The next night Damien hears a strange chanting and notices a figure crouched next to Lee. Damien flicks on his cigarette lighter to get a better look and the small creature leaps past him and out the tent. No one buys into Damiens strange sighting and uses his poor vision as an excuse to ignore his hysteria.
Later in the day Zac spots movement in the brush. Eager to bag the first game Zac releases his arrow. The grayish human-like creature lets out a shriek that draws the other hunters over to witness Zacs kill. They get more than they bargained for when they realize that the shriek also summoned other creatures to the location.
The mischievous beasts now become vengeful and the hunters become the hunted. The friends run for their lives as one by one they methodically get taken out. A few make it to a lone cabin where an eccentric old mountain man reveals what the young men are up against. The creatures are called DROW and when it comes to revenge theyre relentless. With all routes of escape cut off the men must stand their ground and fight for survival.
