The Heavyweight Grind Champion of the World, no sleep -thats what death is for.Discovering breakdancing @ age 9, the quest for hip hop began. By 13 I was learning how to DJ and at 15 I was doing parties and DJing for rappers. This led to my inevitable grasping of th M-I-C! Set on a quest for stardom, I started writing and recording and performing. After some local respect and some label interest and an intrigue in the recording process. I began learning how to produce. With the guidance of my mentor we'll call the "Godfather" I decided to retire from the mic and take over the boards. This is around the same time I met the "Circle" and a host of other artists and producers. I took the ball and ran. We did so many records I can't recount em all! From Da Grassroots' A Passage Through Time to Saukrates' The Underground Tapes to Choclairs Ice Cold to Jelleestone to Glenn Lewis to Jully Black to Sugar Jones to Kardinal Offishall and on and on. Canadian Music history has definately been made in my career. Juno Awards, UMAC Awards, MMVA's, Platnum and Gold sales. Ground breaking deals and progression in the movement. Taking it to the top of the food chain in Canada and realizing the inevitable was to relocate to the real world - America. Linking up with the likes of Redman, Erick Sermon and Keith Murray otherwise known as the Def Squad - It was time to K.I.M. the situation and grind harder - thus giving ya'll work on Methodman's latest 4:21 The Day After, Redman's - Red Gone Wild! Thee Album, Keith Murray's - Intellectual Violence, Keith Murray -Rap-murr-phobia- And currently was working with Vic Damone and EPMD! Right now im deep into the highly anticipated Saukrates album - Then its a run wit EMW and we will begin the long overdue - Strictly Audio album -from the Super Engineer -Ghost Producer himself - G Dough - aka David Strickland aka Gordo.
