gingerbeat was founded in 2005 by uwe riedel and elke espert
(both formerly ion-flux).
it is a duo which has a competence of a very minimalistic arrangement.
elke sings only on a synthi- bassline
accompanied by a looped trivial urban sound
and a 70s (!) rhythm box.
a rhodes stage piano puts some accents to superb melodies.
