I'll give anything a spin once!
I love cult movies-the weirder, the better. I've been a big Romero fan since I was a kid-you can't beat a good zombie movie for pure entertainment! Tucked away in my collection are such *ahem* gems as An American Werewolf In London, National Lampoon's Animal House, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Escape From New York (I love that movie!), Hard Boiled, Die Hard, Dragnet, Ed Wood, Leon, Magnolia (brilliant film), Mallrats, Narc, Miller's Crossing, Ronin, The Terminator, The Thing and The Virgin Suicides. However my favourite is still the immortal COMMANDO!
I'm not really a big TV fan-I've got a few favourite series, like Spaced and Peep Show (and my 2 all time faves, Blackadder & Brass Eye), but they always seem to end almost as soon as I start watching them! I really liked Life On Mars and Green Wing .I'm also partial to a bit of Street Crime UK (one of the funniest shows on TV) and I was lucky enough to see the first series of Flavor of Love whilst in the States a few summers back-pure comedy GOLD! I also really liked The Power Of Nightmares by Adam Curtis and I've just started watching his new series, The Trap which is really interesting.
I love reading. I'm currently re-reading Rights of Man by Tom Paine. My all time favourites that I keep coming back to are Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, Stand On Zanzibar by John Brunner, I Am Legend by John Matheson, Earth Abides by George R Stewart, The Stand by Stephen King, Rights Of Man by Thomas Paine, To Your Scattered Bodies Go by Philip Jose Farmer and The Princess Bride by William Goldman. Also recommend H.P. Lovecraft's 'Dagon and Other Macabre Tales' for reading on dark and nights-very creepy!
Legend!
