I am BLESSED with many WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL people in my life. I love spending time with them. Family. Friends. My three hearts. Mike Mike. I like new places, new adventures, revisiting old adventures worthy of revisitation, shopping, writing, research, meditation, learning, ghost hunting.I founded DALTON GHOST TOURS five years ago. www.daltonghosttours.com. Dalton is rich in history - particularly when it comes to its dark side!!
Creative people, enlightened people, intelligent people, possitive people, open minded people, people who want to make a difference. I believe we exchange energy with those we come in contact with. I hope I most often leave people with a possitive exchange - and not weighed down with negativity. People I could have learned something from... Marilyn Monroe. James Dean. Natalie Wood. Mother Theresa. JFK. Albert Einstein. Dorothy Parker. Ronald Reagan. Jimmy Carter. Many, many others...

Someone recently told me I'm the only person above the age of 12 who listens to Avril Laveigne. Even IF that's true, I still like her stuff. Egyptian and Native American meditation music helps me sleep. I also like Paul McCartney, Matchbox 20, Three Doors Down, Nickelback... and a broad range of artists. My Samantha and My Caleb USED to introduce me to new and groovy tunes... but they're both sleeping at the wheel these days... (what's up, ya'll?!)
Gone with the Wind. Splendor in the Grass. This Property Condemned. Sweet Home Alabama. Shag. Grease. Titanic. Rebel without a Cause. East of Eden. Giant. Poltergeist.
The Sopranos. Desperate Housewives. Court Tv. Fox News. House.
I love to read - it's a necessary part of my existence. Anne Rivers Siddon's "Peachtree Road," is a southern novel with rich characters and a flawless story line. It is my favorite book of all time. All of her books are good. I just finished Nora Robert's lastest trilogy - or, at least the first installment. The second won't be out until May (sigh). I am also right now reading a book by Dianna Avenna called "Roswell." It's about the haunted side of Roswell, Ga. Avenna operates the ghost tours in Roswell - and her book is well written, informative and entertaining. It has inspired me to complete my own book on the ghosts of Dalton, Georgia... WHICH is my number one resolution for 2008!! I like everything Olivia Goldsmith wrote - often the good die young. "Wuthering Heights" is utterly romantic; my favorite classic.
My wonderful maternal grandmother taught me much. I miss her every single day. My parents are better to me than I deserve. My sisters are the wind beneath my wings. My bohemians hung the moon. I have sweet, sweet friends. My soul mate is hugely, hugely important to me. He calms me - no one has ever, but ever, been able to accomplish that. I have the best little doggie on the planet... Auty Pie, the schnauzer queen.I hold anyone who has ever stayed on track long enough to COMPLETE a book and see it published up to heroic standards. I am trying to learn boundaries right now, so I can do the same.
