My full name is Nicola Anne Thorneycroft and I was born at Wordsley Hospital on the 25th October 1982 at 9am in the morning after a long labour, to Pam and Lesie Thorneycroft. I went to St Mary play group than Blanford Mere Primary School then The Kingswinford School. After leaving school I went Halesowen College and studied Hospitality and Catering for 2 years then started a job as a chef at the Copthorne Hotel at Merry Hill. But I only last 1 year there, it was a very tough enviroment to work it, its just like it is on the tv, lots of swearing and hot. I left becuase I had a great opportunity to join a youth project call Urban Devotion, I meet and worked with some great people during my 2 years on the project. After that I made one of the biggest decsion of my life and that was to move away from home and join the Pais Project in Manchester. I never thought I would ever leave my home town, but i know I need to do something. I was stuck in a rut of doing nothing and God had big plans for my life. I'm now on my 3rd year in Pais. It was been an amzing 3 years with lots of ups and downs. I have wanted to come home and give up soooo many times but with God has my stronghold I have powered through. And the final thing what has made me who I am is God and all my great friends at Calvary Church and id.
