Paul Pearson has established himself strongly over the past few years on the U.K trance scene as a very talented up and coming DJ and one to watch for the close future.
Paul discovered the beautiful music that is trance in the mid 90's collecting mix tapes & listening to pirate radio stations before finding the legendary Gatecrasher on his doorstep in Sheffield late 98. He was instantly hooked on the new trance sound and started collecting music every week from local record shops and picked up a pair of headphones after purchasing his first 1210’s.
Having been into dance music most of his life learning to mix soon became a strong passion and after dedicated practice and demo CD's being handed out the regular gigs started coming through.
2005 became a big turning point in Paul’s career as he was asked by Nick Riley & Andi Durrant to join them on their show ‘Nu Breed’ on Galaxy 105 after passing them a CD in December 2004. They were impressed by Paul’s mixing and ability and he joined them on the Galaxy airwaves in January going out live to the nation.Paul has developed a unique musical style over the years by combining his progressive and euphoric trance sound with more harder edged techno kick which he shows in his energetic performances on 1210’s, CDJ 1000’s and pioneer FX mixers. He has developed his musical ability more as a very versatile trance DJ spinning alongside and warming up for some of the biggest DJ’s the trance scene has to offer such as Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, John Askew, Solarstone, Signum, Simon Patterson, Jon O'Bir, Ronski Speed and Lange to name but a few and played at clubs all over the U.K such as Gatecrasher, (Sheffield & Leeds), Passion (Coalville, Leicester), Turnmills (London), Mission (Leeds) internationally in San Antonio, Ibiza and not forgetting the famous Myhouse nightclub in Leeds on a regular basis as Paul is resident and promoter for the illustrious Digital Society.
