Hi and thanks for visiting my page! I've been playing in and around the Chicago area since I was about 18 years old. I didn't start singing or playing guitar until the summer I graduated high school (Carl Sandburg HS in Orland Park) but found it to be my true passion right away. Over the years I've performed with many different musicians in a bunch of genres. I even played in a polka band for a year and did a show once with a Hawaiian band. Ask me about my "log solo" sometime! **** Some bands I was in in the area include: the South Side Sounds, the UpRights, the Flapjacks, the Wise Fools & the Sloppy Joes. I put out an all original CD in 2001 called "Rite of Passage" under the band name "Helen's Promise" ***** Currently, I have a few things going on around the "neighborhood". I have a band called "Green Thirteen" that does quite a few shows in and around Chicago. We're a pop cover band and I have a blast playing with some great musicians. I'm working on some kids tunes with Patrick Doody and have started trying some of them out in a band called "Raisin Rhyme - a Rock Band for Rugrats". I have a seven piece band called "the Brave" that does "a tribute to the soundtrack of America". We do a big show covering artists like Mellencamp, Springsteen, Petty and a cool bunch of anthem songs. I also play guitar and sing with the Mason Rivers country band on occasion. **** So that's about it! If you see me at a show, buy me a drink and I'll tell you a story. Cheers!
