About Me

**Recording a CD** Well I've been busy for the last few months recording my first in studio CD. It will be a 6 song EP and I'm aiming for a March release so stay tuned.
I've been working with the very talented Craig Zurba. Other contributing musicians, Pete Kazulin -bass, Dave Corman - guitars, Kyle Randomsky-drums, Craig Zurba-keys, bg vocals, BAckground vocals = Barb Steele, Rachael Chatoor, Kevin Doerksen, Stef Lang.
stay tuned for something awesome & again thanks for staying in touch!**WANT TO BE ADDED -- PLEASE READ **
I check every request: I won't add someone with vulgarity, nudity anything I may find offensive on their site. Also, if you're wanting to be added just to increase your friends number, then bombard me with bulletins & big 'ugly' banners - please don't! I've got enough clutter in my life :-)
When I make a request, I truly appreciate the music or there is a connection somewhere along the way, or I just want to keep in touch.
If my songs or 'presence' has encouraged you in some way - then add away, I look forward to the connection. Let's use this site for all the positive it can bring - peace!
** SHORT BIO HERE **updated March 13/08I'm a Mom of 3, happily married to a guy who knows how to make me laugh. I'm working 2 part time jobs and somewhere in between all that I'm writing songs. I've been very fortunate to have found 3 great musicians who want to work with me to bring out the best in the music.I'm playing all kinds of venues and events, solo, duo and as a band. We're having so much fun and considering we only get together once a week to practice, wow, we've come a long way. We recently had a few change ups for a drummer, and currently have found someone steady to grow with us.Take a listen tell me what you think, tell me what you'd like to see, hear, read - and most of all enjoy your day!** LONG VERSION - BIO STARTS HERE **Raised in Sudbury, Ontario in a family with 4 older brothers. Loved to sing when I was a kid but usually hid away in my room so my brothers wouldn't tease me.
Moved out to Montreal in 1987 to study languages at Concordia University. Found the passion in writing & singing again, mostly with church groups. In 1993, started busking in the metros. In 1994 moved to Vancouver to marry a wonderful guy I met in Montreal - Music had to take a back seat while having our 3 kids and keeping busy with family life.
In 2005, my kids stopped blocking their ears and wanted me to sing more & louder. In the summer of '06, I was fortunate to win a Vocal Kombat Contest that gave me 2 days in a recording studio-"Living on the borderline" was the product. In Feb'07, I scraped together some money and did "Angel on my Shoulder".
Hope you like what you hear ! I'm hoping to do more studio recording in the near future, but until then I'll add songs as I can. Come check me out as I'm booking regularly at new & various venues around Vancouver.
Leave a comment, or an email it's encouraging to hear what people think, hope to see you soon!
