About Me

OK, here it goes, for anyone who's interested; a holiday update with my festive new painting, The Southeastern Ballroom Tortoise. I'm going to put a big version up here, sorry that means my formatting will go all to hell and anyone wanting to read anything may have to scroll around a bit... And yes, if the dancers look a little familiar, they are caricatures of Amos and myself (modified from an image of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers). My new digital camera actually captured a fairly good rendition of this, though there's a bit of glare on the lower right- but good enough that I'm almost feeling inspired to take pictures of some more of my art and actually do a substantial update for a change. Then I'll probably forget to do anything until next July, at which point the red and green will be looking rather tacky.... Oh yeah, the dimensions of this painting are 16"x20", fairly small. Parts of it were done under a magnifier lamp, the dancers are only 3 inches tall.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I haven't updated my "work in progress" for a long time as you may have noticed- SO.... Have a goat skull! This was done for my husband's band Veterans of Future Wars Veterans of Future Wars profile to be later digitally manipulated for some cover art. This is the raw scanned version, contrast enhanced to show up well on computers; !

Nature Red in Tooth and Claw, and Television

Out about the universe

Well it seems I've been neglecting this space for a while.  I had wanted this space to serve as a diary, but my mind wandered far away in the interim.  I did that with all of my real life di...
