About Me

Myspace is pretentious. I want to travel more; I hope to visit South America at the end of this year (hence the background). Not much beats reading a good book, or a stormy beach. Aussie Tv pretty much sucks; The Mighty Boosh and Skins does not. I want to save the world but don't know where to start. I want to not talk so much. I love Pimms, hence I feel I am destined to live in the UK. I wish we could travel to other universes; I don't like to think I could be missing out on seeing something worth seeing. I wish I could wear a potato sack and people think I still look good. Sometimes I get really strong feelings out of nowhere about things, like that I'm going to win a competition or raffle (it's happened before) or that I should do something but I don't quite know why. I beieve in ghosts. I wonder if everyone lives behind some sort of faccade. I'm stubborn. I don't like saying 'I,' but I do.

Neville Longbottom, Fred Weasley, people from other countries, Vince Noir, Howard Moon, Old Gregg, Russel Coight and George Bush... So I can take him away from his beloved USA, stick him on an budget airline to Baghdad and leave him there with no aid until he can understand the damage he is responsible for and why thousands of innocent people are fleeing to Syria and Jordan to save their families

Music:

Ben Folds forever, Bob Marley when you are feeling happy drunk, The Eels and Dave Matthews Band I rate quite highly, Coldplay are amazazing, Zeppelin rules!! The Lucksmiths and the Mary Poppins soundtrack are wonderful, u2 and The Panics are awesome and I really do like a bit of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and all your generic stuff... ive loved Hanson since they were wee lads who looked like girls and I shall forever hold a place in my heart for John Butler and The Waifs... The Vasco Era, Ultimate Kaos, Ani Difranco, Luka Bloom, The Shins, Pink Floyd, The Bens, Elliott Smith. Jason Mraz. Simon and Garfunkle. Damien Rice (FEB 19th!!), Bob Dylan. Johnny Cash. JT. Luka Bloom (wow) Tegan and Sara. Xavier Rudd (new album is good!!) Midnight Juggernauts. Wicked (the musical)..

Movies:

Hanson: Tulsa, Tokyo and the Middle of Nowhere; now theres a top doco/movie!!, The Lord of the Rings, The old BBC Narnia series, Chocolat, A Beautiful Mind, Walk the Line, Pocohantas, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Napoleon Dynamite, Ben Folds live in Perth (with the WASO), Disney classics

Books:

Figure it out you... BUT also, if you like Harry Potter there is a trilogy by Philip Pullman called His Dark Materials. It is so good, hes kinda like the anti C.S Lewis I guess. They are turning the books into movies which hopefully will be good and stay TRUE to the books (cough HP movies cough). Also just to name a few; Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton (especially The Wishing chair again, The Faraway Tree, St Clares and The Naughtiest Girl Again), C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, Lewis Carroll, Judy Blume, John Marsden, Ursula Le Guin, Alice Sebold, Fairy Tales, especially in their earliest forms... you would be suprised how much they have influenced literature over the years.

Heroes:

JK Rowling, Neville Longbottom and people living in developing countries that can be happy with what they have.
