Steve Forest started his career in 1989 as light jockey in the first Italian Acid music clubs, like Movida, Ranch and Mazoom, near the great international dj/producer Andrea Gemolotto.
In 1993 he started playing alternative music by himself, so in 1994 he moved to London. There he was introduced to Breakbeat and Drum'n'bass music and for the following 6 years he played those genres in the most important British clubs, one of which was the glorious Blue Note.
In the UK he played with monster DJ's like Fatboy Slim, James Hardway, Mc Navigator, Roni Size and Adam F, accompanying him as supporter DJ in his Italian tour.
In 2000, back to Italy, he realized several radio programs were now playing electronic music, on the most important Italian radio stations; then he met the dj/producer Nicola Fasano and the musician Stefano Taboga and founded the production studio The Stradivari Music Production.
In 2001 he brought his British sound in the four most important Italian social clubs (Link, Pergola, Barrumba and Leoncavallo) and in the near Slovenia, in the european renowned club Ambasada Gavioli: there he played with DJs like Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Claude Young, Takkyu Ishino, Dj Hell, Dj Umek, Dj Valentino Kanzyani.
As a producer, those were the years of Breakbeat and Drumnbass, with his friends Feel Good Productions, being also present in Funkadelica compilation, which was distributed worldwide by Edel.
In 2003 he decided to start producing Pop/House music with Nicola Fasano, a famous Italian Pop/House producer, internationally renowned with several appreciated productions (www.djnicolafasano.com).
During this time he teams up with Nicola Fasano,and they decide to create Jolly Roger : Sound of Pirates ,......here, one of the most important, Italian music label , productions & managment companies was born.

,Steve is renowned for his style which has been awarded by charts and DJ’s all over Europe.
DJ Steve Forest, Fish & Chips (together with Nicola Fasano) and The Bootstraps (together with Nicola Fasano and pat-Rich),are actually requested worldwide as remixers, and also for their DJ sets.
