About Me

Layout by CoolChaser..... Kim Wimmer received her liberal arts education from Birmingham Southern College where she graduated cum laude with a BA in music, theatre & dance. (And a minor in psychology. Scary.) While certifiably OCD about her music & her song writing, Kim is also an actress & comedienne. Her early classical training, stage work Off-Broadway and at Yale Rep promptly paid off in LA with a tour-de-force Guest Starring turn on The Power Rangers. Brilliant! Thank you! Television audiences know her best, though, for her series regular role as the psycho-socialite, Elise Cantwell, on Comedy Central's Strip Mall. A former Miss Alabama with an ABBA addiction, Kim likes to play Saturday Morning Music and dance around the house with her Pomeranian, Pelé, Australian Shepherd, Blue & her Irish-German mix, Mark. She splits her time between LA and Vegas where her madcap crew of compadres, Clockwork, is a house band at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. She also makes a mean seafood gumbo and has been guilty, at times, of being an enabler to the fellas in the band.
